HISTORY OF LYNGFELDT
Lyngfeldt is today one of the oldest and largest agricultural machinery dealers in Denmark.
The company is established on 1 March 1910 by master blacksmith Søren Jensen Sørensen Lyngfeldt in premises in Asylgade in the heart of Aarhus, from where it develops organically in line with the mechanisation of agriculture.
In 1963, the trend towards increasingly large agricultural machines made it necessary to move out of the centre of Aarhus to newly built premises on Langagervej in Trige, north of Aarhus.
Lyngfeldt is taken over in 1963 by Saxonia, later Fiatagri Danmark A/S, today New Holland Danmark A/S.
In the context of the merger of Fiat and Ford agricultural machinery activities in 1991, it was decided to divest all dealership activities. Lyngfeldt was therefore taken over on 1 October 1993 by Jørn Seidelmann, who had been managing director of the company since 1980.
In 1995, Lyngfeldt moves from its premises in Trige to its current domicile on Langskovvej in Hadbjerg near Hadsten between Aarhus and Randers, next to the E45 motorway.
Lyngfeldt is today an authorised full-line dealer of New Holland’s extensive range of agricultural and construction machinery, as well as other renowned products, including Kverneland, Krampe, Giant, Baastrup, Huqsvarna, Still, GMR, Stama, MI Garden & Park, and others.
33 employees work at Lyngfeldt today.
